The New Bible Dictionary (Inter-Varsity Press)
A good Bible concordance
The Lion Handbook to the Bible (Lion Publishing)All the above publications should be available from Christian bookshops. In case of difficulty they may be obtained from: The Christian Bookshop, Evangelical Movement of Wales, Bryntirion, Bridgend, Mid Glam. CF31 4DX (postage extra).
Daily reading notes
Most Christians find that daily reading notes can be a great help. A good place to start is in Mark's Gospel, using the notes by John Blanchard entitled Read, Mark, Learn (available from any Christian Bookshop, or from the publisher, Evangelical Press, 12 Wooler Street, Darlington, Co. Durham, DL1 IRQ).For Welsh-speaking readers, a series of Bible study booklets entitled Bara'r Bywyd, each with sufficient daily readings for two months, is published by the Evangelical Press of Wales.
