Concerning the title of this web site:

GospelPedlar web site is over 15 years old. When I first started
constructing the site I did not know what to call it.

One holiday gathering of my relatives I was talking to my
brother-in-law who was a salesman for a major food service company.
During the conversation he inadvertently mentioned that he was
just a "foodpedlar". I immediately thought, "GospelPedlar"!, that
would be a good title for my web site.

At that time, I had no idea that there was a book published called:
The Gospel Pedlar. The Story of John Berridge and the
Eighteenth-Century Revival in England. By Nigel R. Pibworth
